Happy Pin Tuesday! Today was a glorious day at EPCOT. New limited edition pins, the reopening of the DCV Lounge in ImageWorks, updates to Tiny Village in Germany, and more.

The return of the orange monorail

The Orange monorail was returned to service after its renovation. According to my Cast Member friends, it came back yesterday. Today was on the express line to Magic Kingdom.

Construction crews were working on the gingerbread house in the Grand Floridian this morning. I hung around a bit. If you look behind the Gingerbread House, you can see the culinary team in a meeting. After their meeting, the Cast Members put on their holiday aprons and began installing the first pieces of Gingerbread around the house.

EPCOT was pretty busy today, which I wasn’t expecting. It was also quite warm for the end of October. The weatherman said it was only in the 80s, but boy did the sun stay warm.

Pin Tuesday!

The ImaginAtrium Disney Vacation Club Member’s Lounge has reopened to DVC guests. It was nice, but it seems that only the chairs have been replaced and the walls repainted. But the glass ceiling will never be exceeded. A Cast Member told me that the Freestyle Coke machines will be replaced in the coming weeks.

Bing-Bong – $29.99

There is now a Bing Bong plush from “Inside Out” available in ImageWorks when Journey Into Imagination with Figment is released. I love Bing Bong and he always breaks my heart.

Living with the earth – Monkey Madness

I rolled up Living with the Land and saw that the monkeys were not participating or living with the land, but were unfortunately still in uncomfortable positions. The one on the far left had his head down and the other was tilting his head too much, making him look a little scary.

Jammitters!

After my ride, I went outside and found the Jammitors playing outside of Communicore Hall. It seems like they’re still trying to find their permanent position on the new show. These three men truly bring such a positive, upbeat and fun environment to every show.

Holiday Festival decor in World Showcase

In the World Showcase, there was already decor for the Holiday Festival. We spotted the signs in several places. These photos are from the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Norway and Mexico.

Small village drama

The drama continues this week in the small village. Our little friend stays strong at the top of the tower. There was a burglary in the little red house. It appears that the burglars emptied the house. Maybe the tenants moved out quickly? A man fell outside the small building in the back.

Hopefully he was just taking a nap and not something more serious. In the big blue apartments, a man was standing at the top, but one of the pillars had fallen. Maybe he’s checking the damage. There was also a little cat that wouldn’t be so little to the villagers. The little cat is very cute.

Hope you enjoyed our day at EPCOT! I enjoyed exploring the reopened DVC lounge, it was my first time there so it was amazing to see the view from there. I also really enjoyed meeting my little villagers. Let me know your favorite part of the day in the comments below and on social media.
