The star pass rusher appeared behind Purdy and, without saying a word, showed off his white and gold MAGA cap before running away from the camera.

“Alright, Nick Bosa with a message there,” Stark said, laughing at the interruption while his teammates smiled and laughed at the stunt.

His teammates have not commented on this stunt.

Speaking on the podium after the match, Bosa was asked about showing his hat and whether it was a “political statement” ahead of the Nov. 5 election.

“I’m not going to talk too much about it, but I think it’s an important moment,” Bosa said.

He appears to be one of the few active NFL players to support a presidential candidate this election season, alongside Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, who supported Trump earlier this year.

Bosa has never hesitated to show his support for the 45th president.

The former Ohio State defensive end was selected second overall by the 49ers in 2019 and received praise from then-President Trump, telling him to “always stay true to yourself.”

However, before being drafted, the four-time professional bowler said he was forced to delete certain tweets expressing support for President Trump.

“I had to do it,” he told ESPN. “There’s a chance I’ll end up in San Francisco.”

Among his deleted tweets were statements in which he called former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick a “clown” for kneeling during the national anthem.

Bosa also reportedly said he was a “big fan” of the former commander in chief while Trump was running for president in 2016, according to SFGate.

“Yeah, big fan,” Bosa said at the time, according to the outlet. “He brings a charisma that no other candidate has [had] during my lifetime. »

He also posted a photo of himself giving a thumbs up next to a cardboard cutout of Trump.

Earlier this year, the NFL star was also seen posing for a photo with Trump at a UFC event alongside Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and defensive end Sam Hubbard.

In Sunday night’s 30-24 win over the Cowboys, he collected three tackles, a sack and three QB hits.
